I've recently discovered Susan's blog, and I think it's terrific. I thought Fast Food Nation was a thought-provoking read, and now I'm going to check out The Omnivore's Dilemma. Thanks for the suggestion!

I loved "Omnivore's Dilemma" MIchael POllan is brilliant; so now i am reading The Botany of Desire, his previous book about plants. I also think that "A Movable Feast" is a great non-cookbook that talks about food, where Hemingway depicts his life in Paris.
