Makes approximately 1 quart.
Ingredients
4 cups sliced pickling cucumbers
1/4 cup thinly sliced onion
4 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp mustard seed
1/2 tsp celery seed
1/4 tsp ground turmeric
1/4 cup white vinegar + 1/4 cup water
Directions
Mix all together in a microwave-safe glass bowl, and cover. Micro 4 minutes, stir, micro another 4 minutes. Pour pickles and brine into clean jars, and refrigerate.
